Katy Perry says she has no idea when her third album will be released.
The 'Last Friday Night' singer wrapped up her 'California Dreams' tour earlier this month after taking her second album 'Teenage Dream' on the road for much of 2011.
Katy says now the tour is over she just wants to enjoy spending time with husband Russell Brand and has no plans to go back into the recording studio just yet.
"I know you guys want a new record, but I have to live a little so all the songs will be something worth listening to," Katy said during a promotional appearance yesterday (14th December).
The 'One That Got Away' singer was speaking for the launch of her second perfume, Meow, in Los Angeles.
"I think that maybe I'm going to just think about enjoying Christmas and New Years," Katy told E! Online.
Katy Perry recently described her guest hosting stint on Saturday Night Live last weekend (10th December) as "the cherry on top" of a hugely successful year.
