The 'I Kissed A Girl' star arrives at the Los Angeles event where she will perform live.

Katy Perry was pictured looking elegant in a glamorous long and flowing light blue dress as she took to the red carpet of the Grammy Awards 2012.

The 'Teenage Dream' star smiled for the cameras as she arrived at the event where she will also perform live.

The star is making a public appearance at a major music event for the first time since news of her marriage breakdown to Russell Brand.

Katy is also up for two awards on the night including Record Of The Year for 'Firework'.

Capital will be coming live from the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles throughout the night.
