Katy Perry Rocks New Short Hairstyle At The xx Gig In Los Angeles

The 'Wide Awake' singer was in attendance for the Indie outfit's headline show in Hollywood last night.

Katy Perry was pictured sporting a long flowing flowery summer dress as she watched indie band The xx perform in Los Angeles last night (23^rd July).

The 'I Kissed A Girl' singer was also wearing chunky ankle boots and a dark large hat as she left the Henry Fonda theatre off Hollywood's walk of fame.

The singer admitted she had fun at the show and took to her Twitter account to reveal something which caught her eye.

"I always love seeing one single piece of confetti fall at an indie show," she tweeted.

The star appeared to have a new short dark hairstyle, although it was covered by her headwear as she was snapped by photographers upon leaving the venue.

The star also took to her social networking account to thank her fans for their support in helping her win the Teen Choice Awards for Choice Summer Movie.

The star has recently finished her promotional tour for her 3D movie Part Of Me and has vowed to go into hiding.

The singer told Capital earlier this month, that her next studio album would be the "black box" of her life.
