The 'Half Of My Heart' singer speaks about his relationship with the 'I Kissed A Girl' star.
John Mayer has opened up about his relationship with Katy Perry for the first time, and admitted he is "quite happy".
The pop-blues musician told Rolling Stone that he is very pleased with "all aspects" of his personal life.
Asked how his new relationship has been, he said: "It's been . . . I mean, I'm quite happy. I'm happy in all aspects of my life. I'm very happy in all aspects of my life."
The 35 year-old star also said he was pleased he's had no big issues in his private life and geo-tagging is his only concern."
"It makes it hard to live a life where people don't know who you are, but I haven't had any trouble in my private life at all. The only trouble I've had is maybe people geo-tagging me, but that's about it," he revealed. "To me it's just a matter of people knowing where you are on a given day, and I guess assessing your style when there is no style to be assessed. I don't really call that infringing on a personal life. That's just where I am, when. That's all.
John has dated Hollywood stars such as Jennifer Aniston and Taylor Swift in the past and revealed he used to get angry when he saw paparazzi, but has since learned to accept it.
"I mean, I used to be incredibly put off by somebody taking a picture, thinking as if in some way it was it was invading my brain. But all it is is you can see where I was last weekend," he added. "That's all. So now you got a picture of where I was last weekend. That's not tremendously frightening to me."
The pair began dating shortly after Katy finalised her divorce from Russell Brand last summer and have been seen at an array of high-profile events together in recent months.
