Katy Perry had been called a 'bad *****' by collaborator Snoop Dogg.

The rapper spoke to Black Book about the duos collaboration.

He said: 'I worked with her because she's a bad bitch, but she needed a gangster to complete the deal.

'She had a cake with no candles on it, then she put me on 'California Gurls' and it went to number one.

'It was actually the West Coast answer to Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' 'Empire State Of Mind'. They had a song about New York and we needed to make something about California.'
