Katy Perry: "I Love That Adele Is Pregnant" - Video

The 'I Kissed The Girl' star tells Capital that she was thrilled to hear the news that the British star is expecting her first baby.

Katy Perry has confessed that she "loves" that Adele is pregnant and called her "such a good woman".

The 'Part Of Me' singer told Capital FM that she's always been fond of the 'Someone Like You' singer and was pleased to see her in her new 3D movie.

"Yeh, I love the fact that she's going to have a baby," she revealed. "That's so cute of her – she's such a good woman.

"She was really nice in my movie saying nice things about me – I've always loved her."

The American star recalled a meeting the pair had during the early days of her career in the capital which involved a burrito.

"She came and saw one of my shows really early on when I played this small venue, not Water Rats, it was after the Water Rats, I played this little venue maybe twice the size and she came backstage and I was eating a burrito.

"She was like 'a burrito – where'd you get that burrito in England, where did you get Mexican food', and she took it."

Adele announced the news of her pregnancy on her official website last week and stars from around the world have been praising the good news including Lady Gaga who called the star "gorgeous".
