The 'Gold Digger' star is prepping for the release of his latest record, which is already gathering huge praise.
Kanye West's forthcoming new album is said to sound like it's from "the year 3000" and has been called "next-level" by rapper and music affiliate Travis $cott.
The star heard some of the new material during a trip to Paris and told MTV News that the world isn't ready for what's to come.
"That s*** is like some next-level 3000," he explained. "We're already in the year 3000 f******with that s*** and that's why I love hanging out with those guys over there. You get caught on to that new s*** extra fast."
Some of the new songs were played during DJ Hudson Mohawke's set at Free Form Festival.
$cott remained coy in divulging further details on the new album but told fans a little bit about his experiences in the studio with Kanye.
"What I can say is, it's cool as f***, you just learn a lot, you see a lot, you hear a lot and you just get the information super-early," he said. "That's what influences me to work 13 times as hard."
Meanwhile, the 'Otis' rapper was recently seen shooting a cameo for the upcoming new Anchorman sequel.
He was also filmed hitting his head onto a sign post in Hollywood while out for lunch with pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian.
Kanye's new album is expected to be unveiled in June following a cryptic tweet by the star earlier this month.
