Kanye West Writes Birthday Lullaby To Jay-Z And Beyonce's Daughter Blue Ivy?

The 'All Of The Lights' rapper has written a unique gift to his rap star best mate's daughter.

Kanye West has reportedly penned a lullaby to Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter Blue Ivy to celebrate her birthday.

The daughter of two of pop's biggest stars turned two years-old earlier this week, and Jay-Z's close friend Kanye opted to mark the occasion with a special gift.

"Kanye wanted to do something personal for his best friend's baby," a source close to Kanye's fiancé Kim Kardashian revealed to the Daily Star this week. "So he decided he would write and record a lullaby especially for her.

"It won't be released, it's just for Blue," they explained. "He hopes it'll send her off to sleep at night.

"It's really catchy and slow, Kanye raps about how Blue Ivy and [North] will be mega powerful when they're older," the source added. "It also mentions how him and Jay-Z will work hard to make sure their girls have an easier path then they did."

'Drunk In Love' singer Beyonce returned with her new self-titled album at the end of December 2013.
