The 'SexyBack' singer has promised to make a big announcement later today.
Justin Timberlake has sparked speculation that he is to announce his return to music later today (10th January) with the unveiling of a brand new single.
The 'My Love' singer has taken a number of years away from music to concentrate on his acting career, but a new Tweet from the star and comments from producer Timbaland have led to claims he is preparing to make his return.
"Thursday, January 10th, 2013 at 9:01 am PST…," Justin cryptically tweeted yesterday evening, confirming a big announcement is coming later today.
Justin's regular collaborator Timbaland, who produced the star's hugely successful 'FutureSex/LoveSounds' record, seeming to further hint at a musical announcement when he took to Twitter shortly after Justin's own message.
"Haha I'm laughing right now. I told y'all the storm is coming this year," Timbaland tweeted shortly after Justin's message.

While no details have been announced about the potential new release, Florida based radio station Radio Now 97.9 claims the news will be a single and that it will feature both Timbaland and Jay-Z.
It was recently rumoured that Justin has also been in the recording studio with Beyonce in recent weeks, ahead of the 'Love On Top' singer's own return to the airwaves.
Justin Timberlake denied claims he has retired from music last year, and insisted he is just waiting for the right moment to make his return.
