Talent manager, Scooter Braun, revealed in a podcast that he truly feared he'd one day hear the news Justin Bieber would die from a drug overdose.
Justin Bieber has been one of the most iconic faces in the public eye since 2007. His manager and close friend, Scooter Braun, was worried, however, that his stardom could come to an early end with his death.
Speaking on Van Lathan's Red Pill Podcast, the talent manager - who also represents the likes of Ariana Grande, Martin Garrix and Kanye West - said he would often worry that he'd wake up to the news of the 'Sorry' singer's death, due to a drug overdose.
"There was a time where I would go to sleep almost every night, when [Justin] had the money to fly away from me, and I was worried every night that I was gonna lose him," said the American entrepreneur.
Scooter went on to say that it was at this point he prevented Justin from doing any more work, at fear of him dying should it go any further. "I thought he was gonna go to sleep one night and have so much crap in his system that he would not wake up the next morning".
Justin Bieber seems to be leading a happy and healthy life now, however, with his fiancé, Hailey Baldwin.
