The 'Boyfriend' star made the announcement during an appearance on The Ellen Show this week.
Justin Bieber has confirmed details of his new acoustic album, which will be released in January.
The 'As Long As You Love Me' singer has been teasing details of the record in the past weeks and has now officially announced when fans can expect to get a copy.
Speaking during his appearance on The Ellen Show this week, he named the January release and said the record is something he wanted to do for his fans.
"It's something I think the fans really like because I started out on YouTube just playing my guitar and just singing without all the production," he confessed. "I think it's more intimate."
The album follows on from his recent release 'Believe' – which surprised many by failing to get a nomination at the Grammy Awards 2013.
Speaking to Ellen about the snub, he admitted he wasn't too concerned because he knows it will happen later in his career.
Carly Rae Jepsen also told Capital that she knows the fellow Canadian will bounce back and has nothing to worry about.
"I know that the way he handles most things is just to keep on going and he's got a really strong following so I don't think he has anything to worry about," she said.
