JLS To Open Day One Of Jingle Bell Ball 2012

The group will kick off this weekend's performances at the O2 Arena in London.

JLS will open this weekend's Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball in London, it's been announced.
 
The group will kick off day one of the event at the O2 Arena, which will also feature performances from Bruno Mars, One Direction and Lawson.

Cheryl Cole, Rizzle Kicks, Little Mix and The Script will also appear on the opening night.

As previously reported, Little Mix will perform as a three piece without Perrie Edwards, who has been advised to rest by doctors.

Marvin Humes of JLS told Capital FM that the group could not wait to perform at this year's Jingle Bell Ball and were looking forward to seeing some of the other acts on the line-up.

"That's going to be an amazing gig," he said. "You know, the line-up is incredible. We're really excited to see the One Direction boys performing. It's going to be a great day."
