JLS' Aston Merrygold In On Rush For Fatherhood: "I"m Happy Just Being An Uncle!"

The 'Hottest Girl In The World' singer says he won't be becoming a dad himself anytime in the near future.

JLS star Aston Merrygold says he doesn't expect to become a father anytime soon and is more then happy just being an "uncle" for now.

The 'Take A Chance On Me' singer's bandmate Marvin Humes welcomed his first child with wife Rochelle Wiseman earlier this month, but Aston says he has no plans to become a dad himself just yet.

"Fatherhood is a long way off for me," Aston revealed to the Daily Star this month. "I'm happy just being an uncle for now.

"And I'm well up for baby sitting," the boy band star promised.

The 'She Makes Me Wanna' singer also confirmed that he is still dating dancer Sarah Richards, despite having to spend more time out in Los Angeles over the past month looking for potential acting roles.

"Things are still on with us," he assured the publication. "She couldn't come over to LA with me because she was in a West End Show."

Capital FM presenter Marvin and his wife Rochelle from The Satudays welcome daughter Alaia-Mai two weeks ago, after getting married in summer 2012.

JLS confirmed plans to split at the end of the year this past April, after they embark on a final 'Goodbye' UK arena tour.
