Jessie J Reveals Why She Wears Wigs: "I Don't Want My Hair Falling Out!"

The 'LaserLight' singer says wearing wigs protects her hair and saves time getting ready to perform.

Jessie J has revealed the reason she is usually seen sporting a wig is because it saves time getting ready for shows and public appearances.

The 'Domino' singer also says donning a variety of brightly coloured wigs for her stage shows helps protect her real hair from getting damaged by constant styling and dying. 

"It's tough to explain to people," Jessie revealed to Glamour magazine this month. "When you have half an hour to be ready at four o'clock in the morning, yo udon't have time to get up and glue in extensions or blow-dry your hair." 

"A hairdresser who did my hair said, 'You, my darling, have something that we call 'successful' hair,'" Jessie explained. "Which is basically battered hair that's split and falling out in the back because you've had to blow-dry it every day."

She added: "I don't want my hair falling out, so I wear wigs!"

The 'Who You Are' singer took to the stage on The Voice US at the start of the week (10th April) to give a live performance of her hit US single 'Domino'.

Jessie J also unveiled the music video for her brand new David Guetta collaboration 'LaserLight' earlier this week.
