The 'Papi' singer says people will never tire of seeing singing and dancing on television.
Jennifer Lopez says people will never tire of music reality shows as long as the quality of the shows is high.
The 'On The Floor' singer, who is a judge on both American Idol and new Latin show Q'Viva! The Chosen, says people will always love programmes about music.
"I don't think people ever get tired of singing or dancing," Jennifer told The Today Show host Matt Lauer this week. "That's something that always kind of entertains.
"You have so many different kinds of shows like this, I think people just love music, and as long as they love music there will always be room for a show, that's good, in this genre."
Jennifer also spoke about her new series Q'Viva! The Chosen, which launched last weekend (28th January), and insisted the show is unique from its competition.
"It's actually really different [from American Idol]," she explained. "We're putting together a Latin show.
"It's about us going through Latin American and finding the best talent," she added. "It's a really beautiful journey that Marc and I, and Jamie King who is the show director, go on to cast this amazing show that we're trying to put together.
Q'Viva! The Chosen made its Spanish-language debut on Univision and will make it's English-language premiere on FOX on 3rd March.
