J-Lo is the 'Most Beautiful'

Jennifer Lopez as been named the world's 'Most Beautiful Woman' by People magazine.

The American Idol judge is on the cover of this week's edition and has seen of many a younger rival for the top spot.

J-Lo who is currently at No 1 in the chart said: "I feel happy and proud. Proud that I'm not 25! I don't want anybody thinking it's easy. It does take time and it's hard work. HDTV wide-screen is nobody's friend!"

The award was launched in 1990 with Michelle Pfeiffer the first winner. Julia Roberts is a three time winner (1991, 2000 and 2005). There have been three male wine winners, Leonardo DiCaprio followed Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson.

J-Lo is currently in Mexico filming the video for her track, 'I'm Into You'
