The 'Other Side' singer says he is ready to "step up" and shock the music industry with his new sound.
Jason Derulo has revealed he feels new record 'Tattoos' will be his 'break-out album" and says he is always trying to surprise people with his music.
The 'It Girl' singer returned with new single 'The Other Side' last month, scoring a big hit on the Vodafone Big Top 40, and announced new single 'Talk Dirty' featuring 2 Chainz this week.
Jason says he is ready to "step up" with new album 'Tattoos' and believes the record is so versatile it will give people a new perspective on both him and his music.
"I feel like this is my break-out album," Jason told the Daily Star this week ."It's a step up and I'm ready.
"It's important that people don't expect what I give them," the R&B star explained. It was a main goal of mine to mix up the sounds.
"There are so many twists and turns on the album, but 'Talk Dirty' is a premiere song and was in contention for the first single," he added. "It's important when someone thinks they've figured you out to flip them."
