Janet Jackson announces UK tour

Janet Jackson has announced details of a UK tour.

The singer, who last performed in the UK in 2008, will play two concerts at London's Royal Albert Hall on June 30th and July 2nd.

The gig marks the UK leg of her 'Number Ones: Up Close And Personal' tour, where she will sing each of her 35 number one hits in 35 cities across the globe.

'I have been spending a lot of time in Europe lately,' she said in a statement.

'Everyone has been so kind to me. I can't wait to get on stage and show my love for all my fans that have supported me all of these years.'

Tickets are set to go on sale on March 4th at 8am.
