Example Promises New Single Announcement This Week After New Video Shoot

The 'Midnight Run' rapper is also set to announce full details of his upcoming 2012 UK arena tour.

Example has revealed he will announce the name of his new single later this week and is planning to announce a brand new 2013 arena tour within the next couple of weeks as well.

The 'Changed The Way You Kissed Me' rapper confirmed the news on Twitter today (24th July) after filming a promotional video, possibly for his next single, on Monday (23rd July).

"Will be announcing my next single in a few days," Example tweeted this afternoon. "The Feb/March Arena tour will be announced in the next two weeks…. announcing announcements."

The mystery video shoot was being directed by iconic photographer Rankin and saw Example painted head to toe in silver body paint, as seen in the picture below (Credit: Twitter):

"Currently being painted silver and I'm not happy," Example posted on Monday, before later adding: "Being silver was fun…. Gotta wash it off now."

The 'Stay Awake' rapper features on Calvin Harris' new single 'We'll Be Coming Back' which is due to be released at the end of this month.

Example has confirmed his currently untitled fourth studio album, the follow-up to 2011's 'Playing In the Shadows', will be released on 18th November.
