The 'Stay Awake' rapper tells Capital FM that he's upset he has to let fans down as he continues his road to recovery.
Example has admitted that he he's feeling upset and frustrated that his Achilles injury is is continuing to cause him problems as he wants to be able to perform for fans.
The 'Changed The Way You Kiss Me' star was forced to cancel all live dates in October due to the Achilles tendonitis and told Capital FM that it's been a "depressing" five or six weeks.
"Every week I seem to get a set back in my Achilles recovery and constantly upsetting more and more fans – obviously I'm not happy about [it] but [it's] doctors orders," he admitted.
"It's just been pretty depressing the last five or six weeks, I know I've got a lot to be happy about but when I'm used to being so active and constantly on the move, it gets me down when I can't do what I want to do."
The 'Kickstarts' singer admitted that he was trying to keep as busy as possible and will be heading into the studio to work on new material that he is penning for other artists.

"I'm actually in the studio at the end of this week writing for other artists, I don't know who for," he revealed. "You know me, I write songs and then some people take them off me."
