The 'Read All About It' singer says there is a lot of singing talent in Scotland that she wants to see make it big.
Emeli Sande says she hopes to see more Scottish singers getting the opportunity to breakthrough to the mainstream.
The 'Heaven' singer, who hails from Glasgow, is this year's recipient of the BRITs Critics Choice Award, and says there is a lot of Scottish talent yet to be discovered.
"I'd love to see more Scottish acts do well," Emeli told the Daily Star this week.
"There's a cool folk scene happening in Glasgow right now and lots of great singers," she continued. "They need checking out."
The 'Daddy' singer, who is also up for Best British Breakthrough at the BRIT Awards next month, recently unveiled the music video for her third solo single 'Next To Me'.
Emeli Sande will release her debut album 'Our Version Of Events' on 13th February.
