The 'Daddy' singer speaks to Capital about receiving the nod for Best British Single.
Emeli Sande has been shortlisted for a total of four nominations at the BRIT Awards 2013, including two for Best British Single with Capital FM.
The 'Read All About It' singer has told Capital that it's great to be up alongside Labrinth after their collaboration 'Beneath Your Beautiful' scored a nomination as well as her own hit 'Next To Me'.
"It feels really cool, especially to be in there with Labrinth and with 'Next To Me'," she confessed. "It's pretty wonderful."
The Scottish star admitted that she had a great time working on the track with the 'Earthquake' singer and will be happy to pick up the prize for either track.
"Working with Labrinth was great so I'll be happy either way," she said.
The singer also took the time to thank Capital for their support and said it would mean a great deal to take home a second BRIT Award following on from her Critics' Choice prize last year.
"It would mean a lot, Capital FM have shown me so much support so I'd love to win it, but I'll be happy for whoever wins it," she added.
