At 16 Elyar started uploading cover videos across YouTube, starting with Adele's 'Someone Like You', which quickly got him a LOT of attention.
His cover of Justin Bieber's 'Boyfriend', uploaded two years ago during his early days, has had almost 5 million views on YouTube.
Elyar's popularity soon saw him signed up to a record deal and starting to work on original songs of his own.
In November last year his debut single 'Do It All Over Again' was played on Capital for the first time, with his amazing music video following in December.
Elyar then made his Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball debut in December 2013 as a surprise guest, emerging from the crowd to wow the thousands there with his 'Do It All Over Again' performance. Picture: Danny North
The accolades soon started to roll in, with Elyar coming second in MTV's prestigious Brand New For 2014 prize at the end of last year.

The UK singer dropped the UK-themed music video for the track in March.
The singer supported Union J on tour back in December… and most recently supported The Wanted boys on their 'Word Of Mouth' tour.
