The 'Lego House' star teases a collaboration between the two artists as he ends touring duties with Snow Patrol.
Ed Sheeran has confirmed that he has been working in the studio with country music star Taylor Swift.
The 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' star took to his Twitter account yesterday (15th May) to tell fans that he was teaming up with a "very cool artist" before revealing the name of the star.
"writing songs with a very cool artist today :)," he tweeted, before adding: "In and out burger, defacing guitars and writing music with @taylorswift13 :)"
The BRIT Award winning singer-songwriter has just finished touring North America with rockers Snow Patrol after being forced to cancel the remaining few shows due to personal reasons.
Ed has already confirmed that he has also been writing with the band during his time on the road as he looks to complete work on his second studio album and follow up to the hugely successful debut '+'.
Meanwhile, the 'Drunk' singer will be heading to Wembley Stadium this June for the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2012 performing on the same stage as the likes of Jessie J, The Wanted and Coldplay.
