Ed Sheeran And Emeli Sande To Play BRIT Awards 2012 Nominations Launch

The pair will be performing at this week's industry event.

Ed Sheeran amd Emeli Sande have been announced as performers at the BRIT Awards 2012 Nominations ceremony in London this week.

Both artists yesterday (8^th January) retweeted posts made by the official BRIT Awards Twitter page which announced their appearances.

"*clears throat* Proud to announce that @emelisande and @edsheeran be performing at Thursday's nominations launch event," read the message.

Performances from both artist will also be available to watch after the launch party event on the official website of the awards.

Last month Emeli was announced as the Critics' Choice Winner beating Maverick Sabre and Michael Kiwanuka to the title.

The nomination ceremony for the BRIT Awards 2012 will be held at the Savoy Hotel in London on Thursday 12^th January with the actual awards being shown live on ITV1 on Tuesday 21st February at the O2 Arena in London.
