The 'Lego House' singer tweets a message of love for his fans after recent success.
Ed Sheeran has shown his appreciation to his fans after he received the news that his debut album '+' had gone double platinum.
Taking to his Twitter account, the 'A Team' singer confessed that people's support means "the world" to him.
"Love to every single one of the 600,000 people that have gone out and got the album in the UK, it really does mean the world," he tweeted.
The news came on the same day he discovered that he had also been iTunes' new artist of the year.
Earlier today (10th December) he posted: "Back from Denmark to find out I won the iTunes new artist of the year award and '+' has gone double platinum. Good start to the day! :)"
Meanwhile, Ed is set to release a series of his old EPs through his own Paw Print record label on 12th December.
