The 'Make Me Proud' rapper says the move is a "big step" and he plans a return to acting himself soon.
Drake has confessed that he can't wait to watch Rihanna in her first movie role on the upcoming blockbuster Battleship.
The 'Miss Me' star told Capital FM that the leap move into an acting career is a "big step" for the Bajan star and it has inspred him to get back into acting.
Spekaing about the Battleship film, he said: "I haven't seen it yet. I know she's out here doing press and I'm excited for her. You know I think that's a bit step to take – I plan on taking the same step very soon getting back into acting."
The star is currently in the UK on his latest tour and was visited by the 'We Found Love' star on his opening night at London's O2 Arena.
The Canadian artist also promised that the highly anticipated music video for the pair's collaborative track 'Take Care' will be unveiled very soon.
