Drake has been spotted filming on the set of upcoming comedy sequel Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues in New York City.

The 'Miss Me' rapper follows Kanye West as the latest hip-hop star to shoot a cameo appearance for the long-gestating film, which sees Hollywood star Will Ferrell reprising his role as iconic news reader Ron Burgundy.

Drake was spotted in full seventies attire while filming on set this past weekend (18th May), dressed up in a leather jacket, jeans and trainers along with heavy gold jewellery and a large afro and sideburns combinations.

The 'Take Care' rapper was spotted sharing scenes with Will Ferrell and co-star Christina Applegate, who also returns for the sequel alongside fellow returning stars Steve Carrell, Paul Rudd and Vince Vaughn.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is due for release in cinemas on 20th December.
