Cover Drive "Super Excited" That Ed Sheeran Is A Fan - Audio

The 'Bajan Style' band say they love that the 'Lego House' singer-songwriter is now following them on Twitter.

Cover Drive say they were "super excited" after receiving a message of congratulations from Ed Sheeran following the success of their new single.

The 'Lick Ya Down' singers are currently at number one on the iTunes live top ten with second single 'Twilight', and Ed posted a Twitter message to them yesterday (26^th January) saying it was "nice to see hard work paying off".

"Oh yes. Oh my gosh we loved that tweet from Ed Sheeran because he's great," Cover Drive's Amanda told Capital FM's showbiz reporter Kevin Hughes. "We're huge fans of his so we were super excited about that.

"We got an email today saying Ed Sheeran is now following you on Twitter, we were like, 'Oh my gosh'," band member T-Ray said.

 The 'Twilight' singers also revealed that 'Domino' star Jessie J is now also following their official Twitter account.

"Just a year ago we were doing her covers on YouTube so it's good," Amanda added. 

The Bajan four-piece revealed during their Capital FM webchat on Monday (23^rd January) that they would love to collaborate with the 'Lego House' singer at some point down the line.
