The Bajan band also revealed they are aiming to be nominated for a BRIT Award themselves next year.

Cover Drive has described all of the acts nominated for this year's BRIT Awards are "amazing" and predict competition will be "neck and neck' at the official awards ceremony next month.

The 'Lick Ya Down' four-piece attended the BRIT Awards nominations party in London last night (13th January) and described the experience as "incredible".

"I remember watching last year's performances of Jessie J and The Wanted and it was just incredible," singer Amanda Reifer told Capital FM's showbiz reporter Kevin Hughes. "To actually be here and see the stage and see those performances live has been incredible.

"I don't know how they're going to choose the winners of these categories because they're all amazing."

When asked whether they have aspirations to be involved in the BRIT Awards next year, either performing or being nominated, Cover Drive admitted it was something they were hoping for.

"Oh my gosh 100%, that's what we're aiming for," she added. "You know, we're here this year, next year we hope to be on the stage and at the awards show, it would be amazing."

Cover Drive are due to release second single 'Twilight' on 22nd January. You can pre-order 'Twilight' now .
