The 'Can't Say No' singer says the 'Lego House' star is inspirational and very talented.

Conor Maynard has named Ed Sheeran as his favourite male solo artist of the moment.

The 'Can't Say No' singer describes the 'A Team' star as "crazily talented" and admits Ed has also inspired some of his own music.

"In terms of male solo artists I think Ed Sheeran is crazily talented," Conor told CapitalFM.com. "He's definitely one of those inspirational artists where he pretty much did it himself.

"He kind of stuck with the music that he loved, and other people obviously loved it afterwards, and he's now who he is today so it's crazy to see that.

The Brighton-born artist also recalls getting praise from 'Drunk' singer Ed recently after he noticed a Conor's YouTube cover of the Drake song 'Marvin's Room'.

"I was lucky to get a tweet from him out of nowhere," Conor revealed. "He just randomly tweeted me saying, 'Oh man I just saw your cover of Marvin's Room and I loved it'.

He added: "I was like, 'Oh, thank you', then I saw that he was now following me so I was like there you go, that's crazy!"

The 19 year-old singer is due to kick off his UK tour on 20th April, following the release of his debut single 'Can't Say No' on 16th April.
