Chris Brown Opens Up About Friendship With Elton John: "He's Been A Good Friend"

The 'Don't Wake Me Up' singer also says he would love to collaborate with the legendary singer.

Chris Brown has opened up about his friendship with pop music legend Elton John, and says the 'Tiny Dancer' singer has been very supportive of him over the past year.

The 'Turn Up The Music' singer was spotted laughing and joking around with Elton during the latter's AIDS Foundation Gala last weekend, his annual after party for the Oscars awards ceremony.

"I met Elton about a year ago, and he's been a good friend to me," Chris revealed to Page Six at the star-studded event. "So it's great to be here tonight to support him."

The R&B singer even admitted he would love to team up with the 'Crocodile Rock' singer on a collaboration if the opportunity ever arose.

"Music is music," Chris added. "It transcends everything, so I would love it if we could work together."

Chris had just returned from a short holiday out in Hawaii with reunited girlfriend Rihanna, where the two celebrated her 25th birthday during the stay.

'Don't Wake Me Up' singer Chris recently opened up about the couple's relationship and said the R&B singer has "forgiven" him for the reasons surrounding their break-up in 2009.

Rihanna is now preparing for her 'Diamonds' world tour which kicks off across the globe in just a matter of weeks.
