The 'Messy Little Raindrops' singer has ruled out a potential return to the ITV1 show's judging panel.

Cheryl Cole has dismissed speculation she is currently considering a return to The X Factor.

The 'Parachute' singer served as a judge on the UK edition of The X Factor between 2008 and 2010, but has assured fans she is happy to move on from the ITV1 show.

"X factor was a great experience and time in my life and career but is now part of my past," Cheryl tweeted earlier today (23rd February). "Please #letsmoveonnow #newnewspls Zzzzz *yawns*

Cheryl's comments follow reports earlier this month that The X Factor boss Simon Cowell would "100%" like to have the '3 Words' singer re-join the show, as well as current judge Louis Walsh saying he would like to see the Girls Aloud star back on the panel.

Earlier this month Cheryl confirmed she has completed work on her third solo album, following her 2010 release 'Messy Little Raindrops'.

Cheryl has yet to announce a release date for her new record but it is expected to be released before the end of 2012.
