The 'Under The Sun' singer is said to not be in contention for one of the vacant judging spots.
Cheryl Cole has reportedly been ruled out of a potential judging role on the next series of The Voice UK.
The 'Call My Name' singer had long been rumoured for a potential spot on the BBC show's new series, following the exits of both Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue.
However, fresh reports suggest Cheryl is no longer in the running as producers believe she is still too closely associated with The X Factor UK.
"Even though Cheryl is a massive name she's still too closely identified with The X Factor," a source told The Sun this week. "Producers want to bring on stars who don't have that kind of previous relationship."

Both Jessie J and The Script frontman Danny recently confirmed they will not return for a third season of The Voice, while both Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am have yet to confirm their return.
Cheryl Cole is currently back in the recording studio working on some new music.
