Cheryl Cole's Revenge On Cowell

Cheryl Cole has come to the rescue to save the career of X Factor winner Joe McElderry just months after he was ditched by Simon Cowell.

McElderry who was mentored by Cole in the 2009 series of the show has reportedly signed a six-figure deal and has already began work on a new ‘classical inspired’ album thanks to the once X Factor judge speaking with industry bosses about the 20 year old’s talent.

A source told The Daily Mirror: "Joe and Cheryl have always had a bond and they keep in touch.

"They both know what it's like to be ditched by Simon Cowell but are determined to make it on their own and show him what they're capable of."

It is expected that the new album will be rushed out to coincide with the start of the new series of The X Factor series next month.
