Cher Lloyd Breaks American Top Ten With Debut US Album 'Sticks + Stones"

The 'Want U Back' singer's stateside debut has landed her at number nine on its first week of release.

Cher Lloyd has scored her first top ten album in the US this week after the release of her debut album 'Sticks + Stones'.

The 'With Ur Love' singer launched her repackaged debut album in the USA last week which has gone on to chart at number nine on the US Billboard Top 200 chart after a serious of promotional TV appearance stateside.

Cher performed her recent single 'Want U Back' on popular daytime TV series The Ellen Show as well as making an appearance on Dancing With The Stars to promote the release, which is a repackaged edition of her 2011 UK debut including a number of new songs.

The former X Factor UK star unveiled the music video for her brand new US single 'The Oath', which also features rapper Becky G, and features on the new track listing for 'Sticks + Stones'.

Cher Lloyd recently named American Idol judge Nicki Minaj one of her musical idols and said she admires the 'Starships' rapper's bravery and looks up to her in the industry.
