The Gnarls Barkley star reveals that the 'Give Me All Your Luvin'' singer wanted perfection during Half Time gig.

Cee Lo Green has said he didn't think twice about performing with Madonna at the Super Bowl.

The Gnarls Barkley star was one of a number of special guests who joined the 'Give Me All Your Luvin'' singer during her Half Time show in Indiana.

Speaking to MTV News, Cee Lo gave an insight into the preparations for his performance of 'Express Yourself' and 'Like A Prayer'.

"I was asked — cordially invited — by Madonna to be a part of it and, of course, very eagerly obliged. So it was basically as simple as that," he said.

"It was kind of like a no-brainer. Working with Madonna is a very simple process."

Cee Lo added: "She's a very hard worker, quite the perfectionist, and we worked awfully hard for that entire 12-minute performance to be as close to perfection as possible."

Madonna's Super Bowl Half Time show also featured Nicki Minaj, M.I.A. and LMFAO.
