Carly Rae Jepsen Flies To Los Angeles To Record New Music

The 'Call Me Maybe' singer was pictured catching a flight to California this week.

Carly Rae Jepsen has flown out of Canada following the MuchMusic Awards over the weekend ready to start working on new music in the recording studio.

The 'Call Me Maybe' singer touched down in Los Angeles this week after being pictured flying out of Toronto yesterday (18th June), and updated fans by revealing that she was penning new material for her next record.

"In LA for the week! Working on my record," Carly tweeted earlier today (19th June). "Writing a little something tonight actually."

Carly was pictured preparing to board a plane at the airport in Toronto, Canada, carrying her luggage through the terminal while wearing pink jeans and a zebra print shirt.

The Canadian singer-songwriter picked up three wins at the MuchMusic Awards on Sunday (17th June) following the huge success of her breakthrough hit single 'Call Me Maybe'.

Carly also received a message of congratulations from mentor Justin Bieber last week after "Call Me Maybe' reached the top of the Billboard Top 100 chart.
