The 'Grenade' singer's new song features in the vampire film.
Bruno Mars has said watching The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 helped him finish writing his new song, 'It Will Rain'.
The track is featured on the film and appears on the official soundtrack, which was released this week.
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Bruno said he began writing 'It Will Rain' on tour and failed to complete it before he was shown scenes from the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart-starring film.
"The opportunity came up to go see some scenes in Breaking Dawn," he said.
" When I saw a couple of the scenes I was like 'That song I started might be perfect for this'… I've seen a couple of things. I might have seen them get married."
Bruno also apologised about the delay over the release of 'It Will Rain' video, which was originally meant to come out last month.
"I'm sorry about that. I take it very seriously. If it's not right I don't want to put it out," he added.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 is released in cinemas worldwide on 18th November.
