The 'Marry You' singer will also act as the special musical guest performing on the night for the comedy sketch show.
Bruno Mars has been confirmed to host and perform on an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live this month.
The 'Grenade' star has previously appeared on the NBC show back in 2010, but will be making his debut as host of the sketch series on 20th October.
He recently showed off his comedic capabilities in the 'Whatta Man' clip, which emerged online last month.
During the footage, which sees the star dressed up and performing in several scenarios, he can be heard declaring: "People ask me all the time what it's like to be Bruno Mars. That's like asking me what it's like to be a man. A mighty mighty good man."
The video surfaced at the same time the US star announced that he had completed work on his second studio album and the follow up to 2010's 'Doo Wops & Hooligans'.
Today (2nd October), Bruno also debuted his latest single 'Locked Out Of Heaven', which was praised by listeners of Capital following the first play.
The track is the first to be lifted from his new album 'Unorthodox Jukebox', which is released on 11th December.
