Bruno Mars Talks About 'It Will Rain' Twilight Song Lyrics

Bruno Mars' song lyrics for 'It Will Rain' sum up the "darker side of love" like the Twilight movies.

The 'Marry You' singer has revealed why he thinks his new single is perfectly suited to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.

"The 'Twilight' movies for me (are) a love story," Bruno said in a US radio interview.

"But it's a dark love story. And I think the best way to describe the song is, it's the darker side of love.

"I think that pretty much sums it up."

Lyrics in the song back up Bruno Mars' theory, as he sings about being completely lost and empty without love.

"If you ever leave me baby, leave some morphine at my door. 'Cause it would take a whole lot of medication, to realise what we used to have, we don't have it anymore," he sings.

"Cause there'll be no more sunlight, if I lose you, baby,” say the song words in the chorus.

"There'll be no clear skies, if I lose you, baby. Just let the clouds, my eyes will do the same if you walk away. Everyday, it will rain."

The new Bruno Mars song 'It Will Rain' gets its first play on Capital FM on Tuesday 27th September from 10am.
