Bruno Mars announces debut album

We first heard of him when featuring on B.o.B's hit record Nothin' On You, and again on Travis McCoy's smash, Billionaire.

Then we announced that he will be releasing a solo record, called Just The Way You Are, a truly heartfelt song which we're expecting to score very highly in the Big Top 40 upon its release next month.

It's quite understandable that you could be becoming something of a Bruno fanatic, in which case you'll be very happy with today's news: Bruno has revealed his plans for a solo album, to be released in America in October, and hopefully in the UK around the same time.

The album will be called Doo-Wops & Hooligans, and will reportedly feature "a mix of genres, including reggae, folk and 50s pop".

We're excited; if it's anything like as good as the songs of his which we've already heard, then it should be fantastic! In the meantime, satisfy yourself with the knowledge that the single and video release of Just The Way You Are will be very soon. Stay tuned to 95.8 Capital FM to hear it first!
