Enrique Iglesias has pulled out of his forthcoming joint US tour with Britney Spears.
The Spanish singer officially confirmed he will not be teaming up with the pop princess for her North American tour in the summer because of commitments in Europe for his own solo tour.
His spokeswoman issued a statement saying that the tour would not happen, reports Reuters.
'Unfortunately, Enrique Iglesias and Britney Spears will not be touring together,' the statement added.
'Despite initial reports based on formal discussions of the possible run, Enrique will continue on his solo tour in support of his new album 'Euphoria','
'Enrique has great respect for Britney and is a longtime fan of her work. He is very sorry for the confusion this might have caused to anyone.'
The snub comes after Britney announced the proposed trek during an appearance on the TV talk show 'Good Morning America'.
