Black Eyed Peas top US chart

They might have been away from the charts for a while but that doesn't seem to have dented Black Eyed Peas' popularity one bit.

In fact, their new single, 'Boom Boom Pow' has just shot to the top of the US Billboard charts, knocking Lady GaGa off the top spot after just one week with 'Poker Face'.

It's the band's first single in three years and is taken from their hugely-anticipated new studio album, 'The E.N.D.' which is scheduled for release on June 8th.

Since their last group effort, both Will.i.am and Fergie have reached the top ten on the hit40uk chart with their solo efforts but, judging by their US success, it looks like demand for the band is stronger than ever.
