The 'Countdown' star will reveal all about her childhood and family in next year's documentary movie.
Beyonce says US network HBO was the perfect "home" for her new documentary film while revealing that the newly announced programme will reveal insights into her childhood and family relationships.
The 'Love On Top' singer announced at the start of this week (26th November) that she will both star in and direct a documentary about her career , featuring both on-stage performances and behind the scenes content, and admits she is "excited" to be featured on the popular US network.
"HBO has a history of pushing every boundary with class and authenticity," Beyonce said in a statement about the film's announcement. "Some of my favourite shows are on HBO so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming.
"This film was so personal to me it had to have the right home," the 'Countdown' singer explained.

The statement promises Beyonce's film will "shed light on her childhood in Houston" as well as exposing the close bond she has with her family and the decision to take over management of her own career.
The 'Party' singer has been working in the recording studio on her fifth studio album in recent months, sharing several pictures of herself in the studio with fans online.
Beyonce's documentary film is expected to premiere on 16th February on HBO fresh from her performance at the 2013 Super Bowl.
