U2 to join Beyonce at Glastonbury

U2 will headline this summer's Glastonbury after pulling out of last year's festival at the last minute.

The Irish band's 2010 date was axed when singer Bono suffered a back injury - Gorillaz were hastily lined up as a replacement.

But now the quartet has announced they will be joining Beyonce and Coldplay as bill-toppers this June on the Pyramid Stage.

The rest of the line up has yet to be confirmed by organisers although tickets for the event have already sold out.
