Beyonce has sparked a new fashion craze after adopting a pair of Barack Obama themed earrings in support of the US President's campaign for reelection.
The 'Love On Top' star, who has long been an outspoken supporter of the current President, wore a pair of hoop earrings featuring Obama's name for a day out on Saturday (27th October) with her husband Jay-Z.
The earrings in question were designed by Puerto Rican jewellery designer Erik Peña who has revealed she has received a flood of orders for the item since the pictures emerged over the weekend.

The designer revealed to TMZ that she has already sold over 1,300 pairs of the earrings since Beyonce adopted her design, which retails for $32, and claims a large number of the orders were from London in the UK.
Beyonce showed her support for Barack Obama last month by featuring in a Women's Voices campaign video alongside other female celebrities, while she and Jay-Z hosted a fundraiser event in the President's name back in September.
Beyonce has seemingly confirmed she is to star as the main performer at the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show in February 2013.
