As the new season of Saturday Night Live! kicks off, Pete Davidson has opened up about life with fiancé Ariana Grande, from his job of 'filling the fridge' in her multi-million dollar apartment and joking he's trying to make her sign a pre-nup in case she steals his trainers.
Pete Davidson has opened up about life with Ariana Grande on the show he appears on in the US, Saturday Night Live! and he had the audience in stitches as he describes trying to get the 'biggest pop star in the world' to sign a pre-nup, in case she steals his trainers, as the singer supported him from behind the scenes backstage.
The comedian started off by confessing how excited he is to be engaged to Ariana, saying: "I can't believe it, she's the biggest pop star in the world and I'm that guy from SNL that everyone thinks is in desperate need of more blood".
It was revealed by SNL that Ariana Grande was the original musical guest for the first episode of the series, but pulled out a few days before due to 'emotional reasons' and was quickly replaced by Kanye West- who performed dressed in a giant water bottle.
Ariana uploaded this snap of Pete before he went on to do a sketch from backstage, captioning it the famous SNL slogan, "Live from New York".
However, one joke didn't go down too well with the people of Twitter, when he spoke about 'switching her birth control with tic tacs' to make sure she 'couldn't go anywhere' which many took offence to.

Others have defended his style of 'shock comedy' as nothing new, and if Ariana is happy with him then it's all in jest.
Pete also showed up with Ariana to her 'Sweetener experience' and the happy couple posted snaps from their time there, as the singer admitted she is conflicted from wanting to be on tour, but struggling to be away from home for long periods of time.
id never regret it. my happiest moments are with y’all and on stage and stuff. i think it’s just the looooooong chunks of time away from home that are scary to me rn. hi i’m being too honest and people r gonna tear me apart but idc anymore. lol.— Ariana Grande (@ArianaGrande) September 28, 2018
