The former couple have split after eight months, but vow to remain close friends.
Say it isn't so! Ariana Grande and Big Sean have announced they're no longer together. There goes our FAVE pop star OTP! #Sadface
The pair have officially confirmed this week that they've broken up after eight months together as a couple, after Ariana confirmed she was dating the US rap star in October last year.
Ari and Big Sean had fast become one of the most talked about showbiz couples of the moment, thanks in part to their willingness to go all-out with their PDAs! And who remembers their super-cute secret handshake?
But now, in a joint statement, they've confirmed they're no longer together but will remain fast friends, after memorably recording together on two songs over the past year.
"They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends," the pair's publicists said their statement. "We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding tho personal matter at this time."
"They made the excision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart over the next year," a source also told Us Magazine.
Ariana Grande and Big Sean worked together on the track 'Best Mistake' from her album 'My Everything', and on the bonus track 'Research' from Big Sean's 'Dark Sky Paradise' record.
