Ariana Grande issues statement about "harassment" at her Sweetener Tour shows

Ariana Grande is busy on tour currently promoting her hit albums Sweetener and thank u, next. Ariana and her fans appear to be having the time of their lives at her sold out shows, but the singer recently issued a reminder to her supporters about inappropriate grabbing and touching at her concerts.
Ariana warned fans about the implications of touching others without consent, calling it "harassment" and imploring those who do so to stop.
Ariana posted a message on Instagram stories asking fans who attend her shows to avoid grabbing her friends and members of staff without their permission
"Friendly reminder," she wrote. "Grabbing/touching people without their consent is harassment. Please do not put your hands on my photographers or friends or anyone you don't know for that matter when you're in the pit at my shows. It's never okay or funny. Thank you."
"I can't believe this has to be said....but unfortunately it happens often....thanks for listening," Ariana added in her Instagram stories post.
Fans are reacting to the request from Ariana. One fan wrote "This not only applies to Ariana and the people surrounding her but also for BTS and every other artist in existence and their staff/friends. Please, let's stop the harassment towards them and be respectful."
It is unclear if there was a specific incident that prompted Ariana to post the message warning fans about touching her friends and members of staff.
Ariana's Sweetener tour began in March and will wrap in Zürich, Switzerland on October 13.
